The academic calendar for 2023 will be made public by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in December. The NTA will announce the tentative dates of the exams as well as the notification release dates along with the calendar, from JEE Main to NEET to CUCET. The NTA administers all significant national-level exams.

The NTA is again starting their examinations as per their normal schedule after a two-year postponement due to COVID-19. According to reports, a committee formed by the University Grants Commission (UGC) is attempting to establish a defined academic timetable. Soon, the schedule for competitive tests will be released. The NTA's tentative exam schedule is provided below:

JEE Main 2023:

The application form and JEE Main 2023 notice will be released shortly by the NTA. According to sources, the JEE main 20-23 exam announcement won't be made this week. The NTA, however, has not made any official statements about the matter. Although the dates for JEE Main have not yet been determined, the coordinators will announce them soon. JEE main session 1 is anticipated to take place in January, with session 2 anticipated to take place in April, according to NTA DG Vineet Joshi.

NEET UG 2023:

Another important exam that students are looking forward to is the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test, which is held for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in medicine. The announcement for NEET 2023, which will be made on neet.nta.nic.in, may be made in March, with the exam taking place on the first Sunday of May 2023.

CUET 2023:

The CUET entry will be held following the class 10 and 12 board exams, which will take place from February to March 2023. The expected dates for the CUET UG are April and May. According to reports, the registration period for the 2023 Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will start in February. Eligible applicants can fill out the CUET UG 2022 application form by going to the official website, cuet.samarth.ac., once the registration portal opens. Although CUET could be held twice a year, UGC Chairperson Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar did not specify the exact dates.

UGC NET 2023: 

Although the December 2021 and June 2022 cycles for the NET exams were combined this year, it would be fascinating to observe how the NTA sets the dates for 2023. The cycles might be combined once more or the exams might be given separately, as they were in the past.
