This year, the exam will be administered twice, in January and April. Exams will be administered in two sessions, the first from January 24 to January 31 and the second from April 6 to April 12. The admit cards for JEE Main 2023 will be available in the third week of January 2023. According to an earlier communication from NTA, The authorities had announced that the cities for the exams would be announced in the second week of January.

The NTA will administer the tests in two morning and evening shifts. Exams will be administered during the morning shift from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and the evening shift from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Passing the JEE Mains exam is required to take the JEE Advanced.

The Bombay High Court recently declined to postpone the 2023 Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). The NTA has modified the requirements for admission in the meantime. Now, if a candidate earns an all-India rank in JEE Main, they are also qualified for admission if they are among the top 20% of board exam passers. According to the updated eligibility requirements, students must have obtained at least 75% of the possible points in their Class 12 exams or rank in the top 20% of their respective boards' Class 12 examinations. For students belonging to a scheduled caste or scheduled tribe, the qualifying scores should be 65 percent in the Class 12 test, the NTA said.

JEE gives students two chances so they can learn from their mistakes and perform better in the following round. Career and Courses is here to track your progress and to advise you along the way!
