NEET 2023 Eligibility Criteria:-

Candidates for the NEET UG 2023 entrance test are recommended to confirm that they meet the requirements outlined by NTA before submitting an application. Candidates are eligible for the exam if they meet the requirements listed below.

NATIONALITY:-

Citizens or applicants belonging to the following nationalities are eligible to apply for NEET:

1. Indian Nationals

4. Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)
5. Foreign Nationals

AGE LIMIT:-

The following are the age restrictions or requirements for NEET candidates:

• By December 31, 2023, candidates must be at least 17 years old.
• NMC has removed the upper age limit of 30 years for applicants in the restricted category and 25 years for general category candidates.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:-

• Candidates must have successfully completed Class 12 or an equivalent programme from a recognised institution and Board.
• Candidates may apply for NEET 2023 even if they will be taking the Class 12 exam or its equivalent in 2023.
• Candidates who have graduated from an open school with a Class 12 diploma or its equivalent are also eligible.

SUBJECT REQUIREMENTS:-

• Candidates must have earned a grade of C or above in biology, chemistry, and physics.
• Candidates having Biology as an additional subject in their Class 12 or equivalent are also eligible.
